Simplify households lifes.
Simplify households lifes.
For quite some time now, I have had an idea in my head that I would like to develop. So I started the adventure.
Growing up in a large family, I could see the difficulty of organising a household, between the desires, availabilities, and characters of each one. It becomes a real headache so that all the people living under the same roof can be fully happy.
That's why I wanted to explore the possibilities to make life easier in each household.
Verify the need from users.
In order to understand if there is a need and a possibility to create a new product that brings value to people, I have decided to conduct first quantitative research.
I succeed in getting around 70 answers to my surveys by sending to people who were not aware of my project to avoid any bias (facebook public groups, slack product community,…).
This answer helps me to:
Understand what household management is for people and how they do it.
Users indicated a desire for more granular and comprehensive financial analysis tools to gain deeper insights into their investments.
Discover & prioritise features that will be part of my MVP.
Confirm the existence of a need.

Sketching rough flow ideas.
I sketched many flows on my iPad to see how screens and capabilities could be chained together. It helps me to have a better vision of what is necessary for a first version or not.
These sketches speed up my wireframe designs a lot.
First, I mainly focus on sign-in flows to get a smooth app experience without hesitation at first sights. Then I put all my efforts on the household creation and the smart list feature that will be my MVP hearth.
